2 Saves at FPA Miramar Rd. – Holy Saturday April 23, 2011

FPA Abortion Mill - Holy Saturday April 23, 2011

The presence of the Holy Spirit could be felt in the prayers and hymns of the 20 faithful Christians gathered in front of the abortion clinic.  A little child leaned his head on his kneeling mothers shoulder as she prayed the Rosary.

Across the parking lot that separated the faithful from the busiest abortuary in San Diego the spirit of the world lured lost souls through the gates of hell.

At one of the driveways a sidewalk counselor named Roger intercepted a pick-up truck driven by a man in his thirties with tattoos covering his arms, sunglasses and a short beard.  An abortion intent woman sat next to him.  A two year old girl sat in the back seat.  The couple listened as Roger told them about the sordid medical history of the abortionist.  Roger asked the woman how far along she was. She responded that she didn’t know.  The counselor showed them a picture of a 6 week old preborn baby and the woman grimaced. He asked her if it was her first time here.  Looking worried she nodded yes. Roger asked them if they believed in God and if they were Christians.  The man said “yes” and Roger replied, “Then you know what day it is today, Holy Saturday. If you go through with this today, you will never have another joyful Easter again.” The counselor explained how the regret and emotional trauma of having an abortion would haunt them, and that their relationship would probably not last because they would blame each other for the decision to kill their child. Twice over the next few minutes they politely thanked him and said they needed to go, but Roger continued.  He told them about the importance of family and that God gave them this child for a reason.  Roger told the woman that even though she might think another child would be a burden, a younger sibling to her 2 year-old would be a blessing, and he related his experience with having children close in age, and how they bonded and played together.  The woman smiled through teary eyes.  Roger asked the man if he remembered holding his new-born baby girl in his arms. He nodded yes, as Roger told him he would have the same love for this baby.  Roger told him that this could be his only chance to have a son because she may not be able to have a baby after this abortion.  Roger emphasized that all the abortionist was interested in is their money and would leave them to deal with the grief alone.  He told them to leave and enjoy the family God has given them.  The man said “O.K were going home”.   Roger said he would pray for them. He gave them a couple of Rosaries. The couple thanked him, they shook hands and they drove off.

At another driveway a sidewalk counselor named Luis waved down a new Cadillac. In the car was a Hispanic couple in their twenties. The young man driving had long hair and wore aviator sunglasses. The young woman wore sweats and looked nervous. The counselor quickly informed them about the abortionist’s malpractice history.  Luis told them about several women he had spoken to when they returned to the clinic with medical complications. He told them that sooner or later they would experience the grief of losing this baby. He took out a fetal model of an 11 week –old unborn baby telling them to look at how perfectly formed it was. He then showed them a picture of an aborted unborn baby, a gruesome mass of bloody tissue and torn limbs.  The young woman teared up. “Don’t let them do that to your baby “, said the counselor.  The couple thanked the counselor and drove up to the clinic. They sat in the parked car for several minutes.   Then they drove over to the exit driveway. The young man said to the counselor: “We are leaving but only because it’s our decision!”  Luis told them that God will bless them for making this decision.
